SYNOPSIS
The year is 2018. The place, Chechnya. Adrik is a gay male escaping persecution. This is his story.
HISTORY
Adrik's Story: Scenes from Chechnya, Russia was commissioned through ArtLaunch Theatre Company for Upside Down Tree Productions's annual fundraiser in support of Rainbow Railroad. Directed and conceptualized by Raffie Rosenberg, written by Camille Intson, and featuring Wes Rambo, Darren Martens, and Joseph Sevillo.
"There are three main things I know about my life:
One, that my name is Adrik like the dark Sea.
Two, that I am studying aerospace engineering and I would like to build rockets.
And three, that is Mikhail."
